The Best Suction Toys of 2024. Get Ready to Scream 💦

The world of clitoral suction sex toys is blowing up daily. We’ve tested a ton, and these are our faves. Spoiler alert: The best isn’t the rose, and you probably haven’t even heard of it.

Clitoral suction toys are the new rockstars in the sex toy world, designed to replicate the delightful sucking or tapping sensation of oral sex. Unlike traditional vibrators and dildos, which come with a cringe-worthy history as so-called medical treatments for "hysteria," these gems were made purely for your pleasure. Specifically crafted for women and people with vulvas, they're all about making you feel incredible.

I've had my fair share of testing these bad boys, both on my own and with partners of all kinds. After putting dozens to the test, here are the absolute best clitoral suction toys out there

The Science of Suction Toys: How Do They Work Their Magic?

Alright, let's break it down. Clitoral suction toys are like your personal air pressure wizards. They’ve got this internal diaphragm that makes all the magic happen, creating that iconic sucking sensation. Inside the toy's mouth is a silicone membrane that moves in and out like it's doing a TikTok dance. When you press it against your body, it traps the air in, and the membrane works its magic, modulating the air pressure to give you those high and low waves of pleasure. It’s all about that perfect air pressure game, making sure you get the best experience every single time.

Best Overall (9.5 / 10)

1. Nancy's Lem Clit Sucker

  • Fun and discreet lemon shape
  • Soft, medical-grade silicone
  • Waterproof
  • 10 suction and vibration settings

Price: $85 (originally $159) at Nancy, $159 (originally $229) for Beginner Bliss Bundle

Lem is the latest buzz in the world of suction toys, and it’s easy to see why TikTok is obsessed. Designed by sexual wellness company Nancy, the Lem Clit Sucker has a unique lemon shape that makes it both fun and discreet. The soft, medical-grade silicone feels amazing to hold, and its waterproof design means it’s perfect for some steamy shower fun.

The Lem Clit Sucker uses air pressure technology to create a sensation that’s similar to the crème de la crème of cunnilingus, offering both suction and vibration with 10 different settings. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to add something new to your collection, Lem is designed to deliver. During my testing, the combination of airwaves and pulsations provided a mind-blowing experience that lives up to the TikTok hype.

If you’re looking to explore more, the Beginner Bliss Bundle includes Lem along with a beginner-friendly bullet vibrator, a discreet Pleasure Pouch, and a Playtime Pleasures guide. Despite my initial skepticism, Lem proved to be a zesty surprise, blending right in with my other self-care essentials and delivering on all fronts.

P.S One thing that is annoying is that they’re always sold out, so if you’re lucky enough to find it in stock, you can visit their website www.hellonancy.com, and grab it if it's still available.

Almost there (8.5 / 10)

2. Satisfyer Pro 2 Gen 3 Air Pulse Toy

  • Easy-to-use design
  • Soft silicone mouth
  • Waterproof
  • Offers both suction and vibration modes

Price: $90 at Amazon, $110 at Satisfyer

The Satisfyer Pro 2 Gen 3 is a staple in the world of suction toys, and it's easy to see why. This model (rated 9/10 by WIRED) features a straightforward design that makes positioning a breeze, no matter your angle. Its soft silicone mouth, surrounded by a grippy silicone exterior, ensures it stays comfortably in place. The mouth is wide enough to gently encompass the clitoris and nearby areas, providing just the right amount of stimulation without being overwhelming. And yes, it’s waterproof, so you can enjoy a unique experience in the bath.

This toy doubles as a suction vibrator, offering both suction and vibration modes. However, during testing, I noticed that the air pulse feature is so powerful that the vibration can sometimes feel unnecessary and even a bit distracting. Another point to consider is its size, which can be a bit cumbersome if you're looking for something more compact for travel.

Despite these small issues, the Satisfyer Pro 2 Gen 3 is a fantastic choice for anyone wanting a toy that combines suction and vibration for varied and satisfying experiences.

The Good Suction & Vibes Combo (8 / 10)

3. Biird Namii Suction Vibrator

  • Powerful suction and vibrations
  • Soft silicone body
  • Comes with a cute charging stand/night-light

Price: $119 at Biird

The Namii is like getting two toys in one. It delivers intense suction and has a bulge at the bottom that houses a motor for some serious vibration. This combo can take your pleasure to the next level, especially if you’re already a vibrator fan. It nails the dual sensation better than most, although I still lean towards the Pro 2 Gen 3 for pure suction.

The silicone body feels amazing, and its rounded, curvy shape makes it easy to hold in various ways, each giving you a different vibe (literally). And let’s not forget the adorable charging stand that doubles as a night-light – talk about cute and functional.

Yes, it's a bit on the pricier side, but for what you’re getting, it's a decent option.

Luxe Upgrade (7.5 / 10)

4. Lelo Sona 2 Cruise

  • Sleek design with chrome accents
  • 10 intensity settings
  • Auto-boosts intensity when pressed against the body

Price: $149 $99 at Amazon, $119 at Lelo, $139 at Verishop, $149 at Target

Lelo’s Sona 2 Cruise is the Rolls-Royce of suction toys. It's curvy, stylish, and features posh accents like a chrome backplate. Everything about it, from the design to the packaging, exudes luxury.

But the Sona 2 Cruise isn’t just a pretty face. With 10 intensity settings, it offers a broad range of sensations, letting you customize your pleasure from gentle to intense. The "Cruise" feature in its name means it’s got a secret power boost – when you press it firmly against your body, it automatically ups the intensity to ensure a perfect finish. Plus, the ergonomic shape fits comfortably in your hand, making it feel like you're holding an upscale gadget.

Top Pick for Rose Toy (7 / 10)

5. Smile Makers The Poet

  • Unique rose blossom shape
  • Comes with three interchangeable mouths
  • Intensity controlled by a squeeze button

Price: $129 at Smile Makers, $129 at Ulta

Meet The Poet from Smile Makers, the ultimate "rose" suction toy. Named for its rose blossom design, this toy is super easy to hold, whether you’re flying solo or having fun with a partner. What makes this rose truly stand out is the swappable mouths it comes with – three to be exact, each offering a unique experience.

The Poet's intensity is controlled by a squeeze button on the side, allowing you to fine-tune the suction to your liking. The interchangeable mouths let you customize your pleasure: the smaller the mouth, the more intense the suction or tapping sensation, while the larger mouths provide a more diffused, gentle stimulation. It's a brilliantly versatile toy that caters to all preferences.

That said, let's be honest: The Rose is way overhyped. The suction power is often inconsistent, and the squeeze button can be pretty finicky and it feels more like you're paying for the novelty than the performance.

If you're dealing with serious FOMO, sure, give the Rose a try. But if you want a truly top-notch experience, I'd much rather recommend the Lem (A Zenify favourite!) or the Satisfyer.

Final Verdict

Nancy's Lem Clit Sucker takes the cake for the best all-around clitoral suction toy in terms of design, functionality, ease of use, discreetness, and the steal of a price.

And if you can't get your hands on it, go for the Satisfyer or Namii.

Yeah I agree the Rose is totally overrated. I bought it and couldn't even return it easily.

The Nancy one is amazing and just as advertised! I would have liked it to have a little bag to put it in, since it really easily picks up dust. The only drawback was that it was supposed to arrive sooner than it actually did, and I was really excited to try it, except that quite cool! Haven't tried the other ones...

Has anyone tried one of these? I'm looking for a gift for my wife...

I’m not familiar with other brands, but my girlfriend uses the LEM from Nancy, and it’s absolutely amazing. It’s whisper-quiet and compact enough to take anywhere. The vibrations are perfect – powerful but not too intense. It’s instantly my new favorite! My only wish is that it came with a cable charger.
